See who doesn't follow you back
Mutuals reads the data export you request from your own account and works out who you follow that never followed you back. It runs entirely on your phone.
This is a periodic audit, not a live tracker. No service publishes follower lists, so the only honest source is your own data export — which you request from your account and which takes a while to arrive. Mutuals is built around that reality instead of pretending otherwise.
How it works
1. Request your export
From your own account settings, ask for your information as JSON, covering all time. Choosing a shorter date range silently cuts your follower list and makes any result wrong.
2. Open the file in Mutuals
Pick the .zip when it arrives. The app reads only the follower and
following lists inside it and skips everything else — photos, videos and messages
are never opened.
3. Read the result
You get who follows you back, who follows you that you don't follow, and the list that most people are after: who you follow that doesn't follow you back, oldest wait first.
What it never does
- Never asks for your password — there is no login screen at all.
- Never connects to any social network. Nothing is scraped.
- Never uploads anything. Your follower lists are read, analysed and stored entirely on the device. There is no server behind this app.
- No ads, no subscriptions, no analytics, no third-party SDKs.
- Works with the phone in airplane mode.
What it will not claim
Comparing two exports shows that someone is missing from your followers — not why. They may have changed their username, deactivated, or been suspended. Mutuals says "no longer in your followers list" because that is all the data can honestly support.
